Google plans to invest $2 billion in Malaysia for cloud computing services and data centers to meet the growing demand for AI and cloud services. This investment is expected to contribute $3.2 billion to the country’s GDP and create 26,500 jobs by 2030. The company will build its first data center and cloud region in Greater Kuala Lumpur, empowering industries to leverage advanced technologies like AI. Google’s investment follows similar moves by Microsoft and Amazon Web Services in Southeast Asia.
