Google CEO Sundar Pichai stated that Google and OpenAI will address any concerns regarding the use of YouTube videos to train OpenAI’s AI model Sora. OpenAI CTO Mira Murati expressed uncertainty about Sora’s training source, contradicting earlier statements. The New York Times reported on OpenAI’s use of over a million hours of YouTube videos for Sora’s training.

In response to questions about Google’s terms and conditions, Sundar Pichai stated that it is up to OpenAI to address any potential violations.
