The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S EV, starting at $72,000, is Jeep’s first all-electric SUV for the U.S., featuring a 400-volt, 100-kilowatt-hour battery pack that offers over 300 miles on a single charge. The Launch Edition model boasts 600 horsepower, 617 pound-feet of torque, and a quick charge time of 23 minutes. Jeep also plans to introduce more affordable models and an off-road performance concept of the EV. The Wagoneer S EV is part of Stellantis’ U.S. EV offensive, with Jeep aiming to offer more all-electric vehicles alongside their successful plug-in hybrid electric vehicle lineup.
The Wagoneer S is being positioned as a luxurious and sustainable SUV, featuring modern design elements like a revamped grille and an open spoiler called the “R-Wing.” Inside, over 45 inches of screens and a mix of sustainable materials create a high-tech and eco-friendly environment. With a focus on sustainability, the Wagoneer S aims to attract a younger demographic of buyers, with input from designers driving decisions to ban wood and chrome from the vehicle’s interior and exterior.
