Microsoft Corp. launches Advanced Paste feature in PowerToys for Windows 11, integrating AI technology to seamlessly convert clipboard content. This tool enhances productivity by enabling easy code conversion between languages. Users can select text format and access AI capabilities for summarizing, rewriting, or translating text with the free PowerToys utility.

Advanced Paste is part of PowerToys version 0.81, activated through Windows Key + Shift + V. Users can choose plaintext, markdown, or JSON conversion options for pasting content. Plain text removes formatting, markdown maintains HTML format in Markdown, and JSON converts text into JSON format used in programming languages and files. OpenAI API key required for use.
