Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) introduced new AI-powered Copilot Plus PCs with manufacturing partners Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Samsung. New AI-powered Surface models with redesigned Windows 11 OS and Copilot integrations will also launch. Recall, a new AI feature, tracks user actions securely. Prices start under $1,000.

The AI-driven Copilot Plus PCs, which Microsoft claims are 58% faster than Apple’s M3 MacBook Air, are set to compete directly with Apple. While Microsoft advances in AI, Apple is reportedly securing chip-making capacity for its AI chips to catch up.

Microsoft’s forward P/E ratio is 37, higher than Apple’s 29, justified by its higher revenue growth. Microsoft’s innovation leadership makes it the better buy, as Apple faces challenges like declining iPhone demand. Microsoft’s growth contrasts with Apple’s revenue fall, positioning it as the stronger investment option.
