From Globenewswire: 2024-05-13 00:10:00

New drilling at North American Lithium (NAL) operation in Quebec has identified high-grade lithium mineralization outside the Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) pit shell, with significant results from 91 drillholes and wedges totaling 26,605m. Sayona Mining Limited announced the discovery and expansion of new mineralized zones, poised to extend NAL’s life of mine by adding substantial high-grade lithium resources. Results showcase the potential for resource upgrades and reserve conversion, highlighting the significance of the NAL mine in Quebec’s Abitibi-Temiscamingue region. Sayona’s CEO expressed excitement over the new discoveries and plans to update the Mineral Resource incorporating the significant results, with further drilling underway.

The newly discovered mineralized zones at NAL represent a potential addition to the resource portfolio, contributing to the extension of NAL’s life of mine in Quebec. The 2023 drill program has confirmed the conversion of Inferred resources to Measured and Indicated categories within the MRE pit shell, targeting a high reserve conversion rate. Sayona Mining Limited is a North American lithium producer with projects in Quebec, Canada, and Western Australia, focusing on high-grade mineralization and resource expansion for future mining options.
