Nvidia has upgraded its ChatRTX chatbot for RTX GPU owners, introducing new AI models for improved performance. Originally called ‘Chat with RTX,’ the updated ChatRTX at GTC 2024 now includes AI-driven speech recognition, photo search, and support for various LLMs like Gemma and Google’s latest LLM.

Users of ChatRTX can now search and interact with photo data using OpenAI’s CLIP technology and communicate verbally with their data through Whisper, an AI speech recognition system. The chatbot supports multiple file formats like txt, pdf, doc/docx, jpg, png, gif, and xml, requiring an RTX 30- or 40-series GPU with 8GB of VRAM or higher.
