OpenAI is enhancing tools to detect AI-generated images and adding tamper-resistant watermarking features. They joined C2PA for content authenticity, applying metadata to images from DALL-E and other models. OpenAI and Microsoft launched a $2 million fund for AI education. New methods include invisible watermarking for audio and detection classifiers to verify content origin, which will be more resistant to tampering. Applications for access to image detection classifier open on May 7.
