Porsche reveals new hybrid 911 sports car with impressive performance stats

Porsche unveiled its first-ever production hybrid version of the iconic 911 sports car, the 2025 911 Carrera GTS, starting at $164,900. The new hybrid model can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds and reach a top track speed of 194 mph with 532 horsepower and 449 foot-pounds of torque.

The 911 Carrera GTS hybrid is the last Porsche car to offer a potential all-electric variant, balancing famed driving dynamics. The hybrid sports car, available as a coupe or cabriolet, features a newly developed 3.6-liter boxer hybrid engine and can be ordered now for late 2024 deliveries in the U.S.

Porsche also introduced updated 2025 911 sports cars ranging from about $120,000 to over $241,000 for a 911 GT3 RS. The new models offer enhancements in design, engine performance, and standard equipment like rear-axle steering. In the first quarter, global Porsche sales reached 77,640 vehicles, with 2,510 911 models sold in the U.S.
