A majority of travelers are considering budgeting and cost-of-living factors in their 2024 travel plans.

Hotels like Virgin Hotels New York City are offering day passes to access their rooftop pool with views of the city skyline. Customers can opt for pool lounges or cabanas with additional services starting at $130.

ResortPass, a platform offering day passes at luxury hotels and resorts, has served over 3 million users in more than 250 cities. Customers spend an average of $165 on day passes, often splurging on hotel amenities. ResortPass is working on a membership program for frequent day pass users, aiming to provide a local escape option.
