Tech stocks saw a late afternoon rise, with XLK up 2.8% and XSD up 2.2%. The Philadelphia Semiconductor index also climbed 2.2%. Sprout Social (SPT) shares, however, fell 39% after being downgraded by KeyBanc due to “disappointing” Q1 results.

OneSpan (OSPN) shares surged 14% on better-than-expected Q1 results, while Marin Software (MRIN) shares dropped 21% post Q1 report. Apple (AAPL) shares rose 6.4% after exceeding earnings and sales expectations, also announcing a new share-buyback program worth up to $110 billion.
