The Treasury Department announced plans to sell $69 billion worth of two-year notes, $70 billion worth of five-year notes, and $44 billion worth of seven-year notes in this month’s auctions. Results will be announced next week for the two-year and five-year note auctions, and the following week for the seven-year note auction. Last month, similar auctions attracted modestly below average demand. Additionally, the recent auction of $16 billion worth of twenty-year bonds also saw below average demand.
