In a Series B funding round, xAI raised an impressive $6 billion. Investors included Valor Equity Partners, Vy Capital, and more. Elon Musk, the former OpenAI founder, launched xAI in 2023. Grok chatbot was released in November 2023 and has now added vision features along with text support.

xAI plans to unveil new products and technology updates soon. The funding will be used to launch their first products, improve infrastructure, and accelerate research and development. Reports suggest xAI is working on a new version of Grok and building a powerful supercomputer to support it by the end of 2025.
