Apple is partnering with OpenAI to bring AI features to its products, announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference. This is the first AI partnership for Apple, aiming to catch up with competitors like Microsoft and Google. OpenAI’s technology will be integrated into Siri for tasks like creating stories, recipes, and decor ideas.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman expressed excitement about the partnership on X. Apple is also unveiling Apple Intelligence, a new generative AI software with features like call transcription, photo retouching, and improved Siri conversations. Apple emphasizes user privacy with a new Private Cloud Compute system, set to be released later this year.
