Broadcom beat analysts’ estimates in the second fiscal quarter and announced a 10-for-1 stock split starting on July 15. Earnings per share were $10.96, above the expected $10.84, with revenue reaching $12.49 billion compared to an expected $12.03 billion. The chipmaker forecasts $51 billion in sales for fiscal year 2024, with $2.12 billion in net income reported for the quarter. Sales growth was driven by AI products and revenue from VMware.
