Chinese and Hong Kong stocks rise on hopes of stimulus measures, led by property sector gains.

China stocks rebounded on Tuesday ahead of the Lujiazui Forum where the CSRC will announce new market-friendly measures. Property stocks led gains, with CSI 300 Real Estate Index and Hong Kong-listed mainland developers rising. Shanghai Composite and CSI300 indices closed higher, with healthcare and consumer staples sectors also up. Hang Seng index in Hong Kong rose slightly. Asia ex-Japan stock index weak, while Japan’s Nikkei closed lower.
