McDonald's rises 2.2% in early trading, but has lost 12.5% year-to-date. JPMorgan falls 1.6%.

Shares of McDonald’s saw a 2.2% increase in early trading, making it the best performing Dow component for the day. However, the fast-food chain has lost about 12.5% of its value year-to-date. On the other hand, JPMorgan Chase was the worst performer, down 1.6%, despite a 14.9% gain so far this year. Dow and Cisco Systems also saw movement, with Dow trading down 1.1% and Cisco Systems trading up 1.1% on the day.
