From NVIDIA: 2024-06-02 08:30:00

Meta has launched Llama 3, a large language model trained using accelerated computing by NVIDIA to boost healthcare workflows. Available as a downloadable NIM microservice, Llama 3 enables developers to deploy generative AI models for various healthcare applications. A wide range of AI ecosystem partners, including healthcare startups, are adopting NIM into their solutions at COMPUTEX. Digital biology, clinical trials, and digital surgery tools are being advanced with NIM technology.
Leading tech and pharmaceutical companies are utilizing NIM for generative biology and drug discovery, while companies like Deloitte and Transcripta Bio are driving efficiency in drug discovery with AI models. Quantiphi and ConcertAI are leveraging NIM to develop generative AI solutions for clinical trials and patient care, improving outcomes and saving costs. Mendel AI is using NIM for clinically focused AI solutions with performance improvements in drug discovery and real-world evidence generation.
AI copilots and augmented reality solutions for physicians are being developed by companies like Activ Surgical using Llama 3. Digital health applications powered by generative AI tools such as SimBioSys, Artisight, AITEM and Abridge are enhancing patient-doctor interactions and automating documentation for healthcare providers. These companies, along with others, are members of NVIDIA Inception, a program supporting startups with cutting-edge technology and resources.
The NVIDIA NIM collection is available through NVIDIA AI Enterprise, which streamlines the development and deployment of AI applications. Those interested can now download the Meta Llama 3 NIM and explore the impact of generative AI on healthcare and other industries at COMPUTEX. NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang’s COMPUTEX keynote provides further insight into the advancements in healthcare technology.
