Elon Musk dropped a lawsuit against OpenAI and CEO Sam Altman, claiming the company strayed from its non-profit mission to focus on profits. Musk co-founded OpenAI in 2015 but left in 2017 before it launched a for-profit arm. The lawsuit targeted OpenAI’s partnership with Microsoft. Musk threatened to ban Apple devices if OpenAI’s AI technology is integrated into their operating system.
