EU competition chief Margrethe Vestager is seeking more input on Microsoft’s partnership with OpenAI, and Google’s AI deal with Samsung for Samsung devices. Additional information is needed to determine if exclusivity clauses may harm competition. Questionnaires were sent in March to big tech companies including Microsoft, Google, Facebook, and TikTok.
