Ilya Sutskever, co-founder of OpenAI, has announced a new AI company called Safe Superintelligence (SSI). SSI will focus on safe superintelligence with no distractions, unlike other AI companies. Sutskever left OpenAI due to disagreements on core priorities and has teamed up with Daniel Gross and Daniel Levy to start SSI in California and Israel.
