Nonfarm payrolls in May increased by 272,000, above estimates. Technology, healthcare, and communication services led sectors. End of earnings season with 79% companies reporting positive earnings surprise. Next week, focus on inflation with CPI report on Wednesday and Federal Reserve rate decision. Producer prices report to follow. Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference will bring updates on generative AI features. No major events on Friday. Apple set to make significant announcements at the annual event.
