NVIDIA introduced NVIDIA Studio at COMPUTEX in 2019, and now at COMPUTEX 2024, they are expanding their RTX technology integrations. New GeForce RTX AI laptops will feature dedicated Tensor Cores and Windows 11 AI PC features. NVIDIA RTX Video enhancements are coming to VLC Media Player and popular creative apps like DaVinci Resolve and Wondershare Filmora. The new H.265 Ultra-High-Quality mode will increase video coding efficiency by 10%.

Creators can look forward to the open-source release of NVIDIA RTX Remix, a platform for remastering classic games with RTX. The platform connects to modding tools like Blender via a new REST API. AI-powered DLSS 3.5 is being integrated into creative apps for higher-quality ray-traced visuals. NVIDIA unveiled Project G-Assist, an AI-powered game and app assistant.

NVIDIA’s RTX Video enhancements include RTX Video Super Resolution, which upscales videos to 4k, and RTX Video HDR, which transforms standard videos into high-dynamic range. RTX Video SDK allows for easy integration into apps like DaVinci Resolve and VLC Media Player. The new UHQ mode in NVENC increases HEVC video compression efficiency by 10%.

RTX Remix, a tool for remastering games with RTX, is now open source, with new DLSS 3.5 support and AI Texture Tools. DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction improves ray-traced image quality on NVIDIA RTX GPUs. The RTX Remix runtime SDK and REST API allow for integration with other applications beyond DirectX 8 and 9 classics.

NVIDIA’s RTX AI Toolkit is a workflow for creating app-specific AI tools to run on RTX AI PCs. Adobe, Topaz, and Blackmagic Design are integrating the RTX AI Toolkit into their creative apps for enhanced AI performance. This enables more efficient, app-specific AI models to run on local PCs, as opposed to general purpose models running in data centers.
