Saudi Arabia stocks closed higher on Sunday, led by gains in the and sectors. The index rose by 1.06% with East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry as the top performer, up 8.96%. However, Astra Industrial Group was the worst performer, falling by 3.92%. In commodities, crude oil and gold futures dropped.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange, with 162 gaining, 121 declining, and 26 unchanged. Crude oil for July delivery fell to $77.18 a barrel, while Brent oil for August delivery dropped to $81.37 a barrel. The EUR/SAR rate remained steady at 4.07, while the USD/SAR exchange rate was unchanged at 3.75.
Overall, the US Dollar Index Futures saw a slight decrease of 0.08% to 104.57 during the trading session. Mouwasat Medical Services Company and Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker also posted significant gains. National Industrialization Co and Saudi Arabian Mining Company witnessed declines.
