Tech stocks, including XLK and XSD, saw gains Friday afternoon, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor index up by 1.3%. Meanwhile, European regulators are investigating Microsoft’s investment in OpenAI over concerns of potential antitrust issues. Microsoft shares edged up by 0.1%.

Nokia announced the acquisition of Infinera for $2.3 billion in a cash-and-stock deal, aiming to enhance its optical networks business. Following the news, Nokia shares rose by 1.6% and Infinera surged by nearly 18%. In another development, MultiSensor AI priced its public offering at $1.60 per share, with gross proceeds expected to reach $10 million, leading to a share price drop of over 17%.
