SoftBank Group partners with Tempus AI for AI healthcare venture, investing millions

SoftBank Group and Tempus AI have partnered to use AI to analyze medical data for treatment recommendations. SoftBank invested $200 million in Tempus in April and will invest $93 million each in the joint venture. Only Japan outside the U.S. will have AI-informed treatment and trial recommendations from this partnership. Tempus’ share price fell to $27.50 from $37 at its IPO.
