Tech stocks saw a boost with XLK rising 2.6% and XSD jumping 3.2%. Oracle shares surged 12% after reporting increased sales and partnerships with Microsoft and Google.

Microsoft chose MediaTek to develop an AI-compatible Arm chip for Windows, leading to a 1.6% increase in Microsoft shares and a 7.7% jump in Arm stock. Beamr Imaging shares rose 27% following the launch of its cloud product on Oracle’s Cloud Marketplace.
