Tesla will not release updated Model Y, focusing on continuous improvements

Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced on social media that there will be no refreshed Model Y this year, stating that constant improvements are made to their cars. Slow to update aging models, Tesla saw a decline in global vehicle deliveries in the first quarter, with focus shifting towards cheaper models in China. Production revamp of Model Y is targeted for 2024.
