Investment management firm VanEck plans to charge a 0.20% fee on its proposed spot ethereum exchange-traded fund, per SEC filing. Nasdaq, CBOE, and NYSE received approval to list ETFs tied to ether’s price, with potential trading later this year. Nine issuers, including VanEck and BlackRock, aim to launch ETH ETFs following SEC approval of bitcoin ETFs. Spot ethereum ETFs offer exposure to ETH price without owning ethereum directly.
