WikiLeaks cofounder Julian Assange received an anonymous donation of eight Bitcoin, valued at approximately $500,000. Following a plea agreement, he ended his 14-year legal battle and arrived in Australia after being freed by a U.S. court. Thanks to donations, including $500,000 in Bitcoin from a whale, Assange was able to pay for his private plane to Saipan. In court, he expressed concerns about charges under the Espionage Act and must delete material given to WikiLeaks as part of the plea deal.
