CGI Group (GIB) is enhancing governmental operations through partnerships, including with State of Colorado, City of Los Angeles, FBI, and City and County of Honolulu, utilizing CGI Advantage solution to modernize and streamline financial, procurement, and reporting operations. The company is strengthening its public sector focus and expanding internationally to drive growth.
Recent success includes upgrading CGI Advantage for City of Los Angeles by integrating Amazon’s AWS and Salesforce for 7,300 vendors, digitizing eProcurement system. CGI Group has secured partnerships with Alphabet, Microsoft, Amazon, Munich Re, Nokia, and Exxon Mobil to deliver advanced ERP solutions and digital solutions for connected operations.
In second-quarter fiscal 2024, CGI Group secured bookings of CAD 3.8 billion with a book-to-bill ratio of 100%. Backlog hit CAD 26.8 billion, driven by strong performance in Finland, Poland, Baltics, Western and Southern Europe, U.K, and Australia. However, cautionary spending and slow procurement decision-making pose challenges. The stock has dropped 1.2% year-to-date.
