Michael Saylor tweets about Bitcoin's potential to fix global issues with fiat money

Michael Saylor, co-founder of MicroStrategy, tweeted “Fix the money. Fix the world,” implying Bitcoin could fix global issues caused by fiat money. Many companies reportedly committed to buying Bitcoin after the recent Bitcoin 2024 conference, following MicroStrategy’s lead with their massive holding of 226,331 Bitcoin valued at $7.5 billion.
Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon acknowledged Bitcoin’s potential as a store of value but still considers it a speculative asset. Bitcoin’s price dropped 6%, falling below $70,000 but has since rebounded to $66,320 after the U.S. government moved over $3 billion worth of BTC seized from Silk Road, an illegal online marketplace.
