CVR Partners, LP announced second quarter net income of $26 million, with earnings of $2.48 per common unit, and EBITDA of $54 million on sales of $133 million. A cash distribution of $1.90 per common unit was declared. CEO Mark Pytosh emphasized strong demand for nitrogen fertilizer despite weather delays during the planting season.

Production remained consistent with 221,000 tons of ammonia and 337,000 tons of UAN produced in Q2 2024. Average realized gate prices for UAN decreased 15% to $268 per ton, while ammonia was down 26% to $520 per ton. The Board declared a cash distribution of $1.90 per common unit, payable on August 19, 2024.
