Darden Restaurants is set to acquire Chuy’s Holdings for $605 million in cash, with an agreement to buy all outstanding shares at $37.50 per share. The Tex-Mex chain will join Darden’s portfolio which includes Olive Garden and LongHorn Steakhouse, with Chuy’s generating over $450 million in revenues. The acquisition is expected to be completed in Darden’s fiscal second quarter.
