Deutsche Bank criticized by German regulator for financial reporting error

Deutsche Bank incorrectly disclosed 2.076 billion euros ($2.26 billion) worth of deferred tax assets in its 2019 financial statement, not meeting international accounting standards, German regulators said. The bank did not separate U.S. business assets in notes or show proof of future profits, violating International Accounting Standards rules. Shares fell 0.9% in Europe.
