Private equity firms Apax Partners, Bain Capital, and CVC are considering bids for SoftwareOne. The Swiss software company’s board was ousted in April after rejecting a $3.27 billion takeover offer from Bain. SoftwareOne has confirmed being approached by multiple bidders. Jefferies is advising the board on the potential deal.

SoftwareOne, with over 9000 employees, helps companies buy and manage software from providers like Microsoft, SAP, and Adobe. Founding shareholders successfully ousted the board after resisting a sale to Bain last year. The rejection of multiple offers from Bain has made SoftwareOne a likely takeover target.
