Fnac Darty reports growth in all geographies, plans to acquire Unieuro in bid for European leadership

Fnac Darty reported a return to growth in all geographies during Q2 2024, with H1 2024 results in line with expectations. Revenue for Q2 2024 was €1.6 billion, up +2.1% from the previous year, and H1 2024 revenue was €3.4 billion, up +1.4% from the previous year.
Fnac Darty has announced plans to acquire Unieuro, the Italian leader in Consumer electronics and Domestic appliances, in a bid to consolidate its European leadership in specialized retail. The offer includes €9.0 in cash and 0.10 in Fnac Darty shares, valuing Unieuro at €12.0 per share.
Moody’s ESG rating for Fnac Darty has increased by 4 points to 65/100, ranking the company #2 in the specialized retail sector. The 2024 annual outlook for Fnac Darty has been confirmed, with expected synergies of over €20 million from the acquisition of Unieuro, leading to an EPS accretion above 10% from 2025.
