Grindrod Shipping Holdings Ltd. has announced the approval of the selective capital reduction by the High Court of the Republic of Singapore on July 16, 2024. The Selective Capital Reduction will take effect upon the lodgement of the Court Order with the Registrar on August 16, 2024. Trading of Shares on Nasdaq will be suspended on August 15, 2024, and on the JSE on August 16, 2024. Shareholders registered on the South African branch register will receive a Cash Distribution of US$14.25 per share. The Selective Capital Reduction Distribution will be converted to Rands using the USD/Rand spot rate from Nedbank Limited.
