Apple is reportedly set to release the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max with faster charging speeds, including 20W charging with MagSafe and 40W fast wired charging.

The iPhone 16 lineup will feature stacked battery technology, offering 40W wired charging and 20W charging with MagSafe. Models will also have larger batteries than their predecessors, except for iPhone 16 Plus.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reports that iPhone 16 batteries will have greater energy density. Currently, iPhone 15 models support wired fast charging speeds of 27W and wireless charging speeds of 15W.
