Indian stock market up, IT stocks in focus, positive earnings results reported, some companies show growth.

Indian shares opened positively on Monday, with the Sensex up 195 points and Nifty up 65 points. HCL Technologies reported a 20% rise in quarterly profit, while Infosys and Wipro prepared for their earnings results. MTNL climbed 2.4% on reports of potential operations handover to BSNL. Avenue Supermarts saw a 17.5% growth in Q1 profit, while PC Jeweler jumped 2% on fund raising news. HUL was slightly down after Unilever announced job cuts in Europe. 5paisa Capital reported a 39% rise in Q1 net profit, IREDA surged 4.2% with 30.2% net profit growth in Q1, and RVNL rose 1% on securing a Rs 132.6 crore project from Central Railway.
