Former President Donald Trump announced support for incorporating Bitcoin as a strategic reserve asset for the United States, during a keynote speech at the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville. He criticized US Dollar policies and vowed to end persecution of the cryptocurrency sector if reelected. Trump also planned to halt CBDC development and replace the SEC Chairman. The market responded positively, with Bitcoin price rising by 1%.
