World stocks rise, UK election results boost markets, US job growth remains steady

Concerns remain about how Prime Minister Starmer will fund faster growth plans. U.S. Treasury yields were stable, euro rose amid French election anticipation, and dollar weakened against the yen.

Cryptocurrency Bitcoin faced a significant weekly fall due to Mt. Gox concerns and leveraged selling. Gold and oil prices rose, with gold up 0.8% and oil poised for a fourth weekly gain. Front month Brent crude futures were up, as was U.S. West Texas Intermediate.
