Bitcoin experienced its largest one-day percentage loss since November 9, 2022, dropping 12.29% to $53,275.3 on Monday. This brought its market cap to $1,105.9B, constituting 56.04% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. Over the past week, Bitcoin has seen an 18.43% decrease in value, currently down 27.75% from its all-time high of $73,740.90.
In contrast, Ethereum fell by 24.47% to $2,201.12, while Tether USDt gained 0.01% to $0.9997. Ethereum’s market cap stands at $301.1B (15.26% of total crypto market cap) and Tether USDt’s at $114.5B (5.80% of total crypto market value). Bitcoin’s trading volume was $35.1B, accounting for 41.63% of total cryptocurrency trading volume.
