Modesto Gospel Mission receives $2 million grant for affordable housing project in Modesto.

The Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco awarded Modesto Gospel Mission a $2 million grant through Oak Valley Community Bank. This funding will support the Restoration Woods project in Modesto, providing emergency shelter and services for 134 individuals. The grant will aid in substantial rehabilitation and construction of housing units. FHLB San Francisco awarded a total of $61.8 million through its 2024 AHP funding competition, benefiting 59 projects across multiple states. This year’s selected grants in California will create 3,105 units of affordable housing. The AHP program helps expand access to affordable housing for those in need.
