Mulvihill U.S. Health Care ETF reports $0.10 million decrease in net assets

The Mulvihill U.S. Health Care Enhanced Yield ETF (TSX: XLVE) reported a decrease in net assets of $0.10 million or $0.13 per unit for the six months ending June 30, 2024. The net assets per unit as of June 30, 2024, were $7.28 million or $8.09 per unit, with cash distributions of $0.35 per unit during the period.

The Fund aims to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing in U.S. health care issuers from the S&P 500 Index. It utilizes a portfolio of securities from the S&P 500 Health Care Index with modest leverage of 25 percent to enhance dividend yields and employs option strategies to generate income and reduce volatility.

Managed by Mulvihill Capital Management Inc., the Fund’s investment portfolio mainly focuses on securities from the S&P 500 Health Care Index. Traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol XLVE, the Fund offers exposure to U.S. health care companies and provides monthly cash distributions for investors.
