Mythical Games has migrated its Mythical Chain to the Polkadot ecosystem, creating one of the most interconnected gaming ecosystems in Web3. This move brings over 750,000 active wallets and a user base of over 5 million to Polkadot, making it one of the largest blockchain ecosystems for gaming.

Mythos, a part of Mythical Games, was behind 3.3 million transactions last Tuesday, a significant increase from under 500,000 the day before. This surge was primarily due to the transfer of NFTs. However, transactions across Polkadot dropped to 690,000 a day later, with 190,000 still from Mythos.

Mythical Games launched its Mythos ecosystem on Polkadot, aiming to reduce entry barriers for game developers and utilize the technology and community of Polkadot to build their own chains. The company currently boasts over 3 million monthly digital asset transactions and 200,000 active wallets in daily trades.

The decision to migrate from Ethereum to Polkadot was influenced by issues with the former’s ecosystem, including slow transaction speeds. This move allows Mythical Games to establish a secure and interoperable infrastructure with other Mythos partners, utilizing Polkadot’s EVM compatibility and WebAssembly-based framework.

With the migration to Polkadot, Mythos will benefit from advanced cross-chain features like native XCM and decentralized bridges like Snowbridge. The flexible EVM module on Polkadot will allow Mythical Games to explore a wide range of technical possibilities and create the next wave of mainstream applications on the platform.
