Chibougamau Independent Mines Inc. announced the termination of the letter of intent with TomaGold Corporations, ending the option to acquire Chibougamau’s East Block. The parties couldn’t agree on final terms to move forward. Chibougamau conducted successful drill holes on its C3 copper-gold discovery during the extension period.

Chibougamau retains ownership of significant advanced assets in the Chibougamau Mining Camp. TomaGold plans to continue with the West Block option, with a 2-month extension for initial exploration expenditures. All other terms of the West Block option remain unchanged.
