1. Amazon.com Inc reported Q3 sales of $110.8 billion, up 15% from last year. Net income was $6.9 billion, 22% higher than last year. The company also gave a Q4 sales forecast of $130 billion to $140 billion. Shares rose 5% in after-hours trading to $3,303.99.

2. Amazon’s cloud business, Amazon Web Services, saw a 39% increase in revenue to $18.4 billion. The unit’s operating income was $5.3 billion, up from $3.5 billion last year. The division accounts for about 13% of the company’s total revenue.

3. For the full year 2021, Amazon expects net sales to be between $450 billion and $470 billion, representing 24-27% growth. Operating income is expected to be between $21.5 billion and $23.5 billion. The company mentioned that this forecast includes costs related to COVID-19.
