Apple Inc. is planning to switch all iPhone SE models to OLED displays instead of LCD screens for better power efficiency and more vibrant colors. OLED screens were first introduced on the iPhone X in 2017, and have been used in premium models like the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. Japan Display and Sharp Corp. supplied 70% of iPhone displays, but Apple is now in talks with BOE Technology and LG Display for OLED supply.
