Asian markets rallied on Wednesday after Wall Street’s lead, as US inflation eased further. The Nikkei 225 in Japan surged 1.6%, while the Hang Seng in Hong Kong rose 1.4%. This follows a 0.8% gain by the S&P 500 and a 1.2% jump by the Nasdaq on Tuesday. US consumer prices rose 0.4% in August, less than in July, easing inflation fears. Oil prices also climbed, with Brent crude at $74.57 a barrel. Gold prices remained steady at $1,793.66 an ounce, and the dollar fell slightly against the yen.
